The main indoor-outdoor stage of Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Fairfax County, Virginia, near Vienna, and the only US national park created for the performing arts. It holds 7,028 — 3,800 under cover and another 3,200 on the lawn — and is named for Catherine Filene Shouse's parents, Abraham and Thérèse Lincoln Filene. Performances run nightly from May to early September, from country music to opera. James Taylor broke through in 1970 with "Fire and Rain" and had his first No. 1 the following year with Carole King's "You've Got a Friend".
