A multi-purpose entertainment complex in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the second indoor/outdoor concert venue in America. Modelled on Columbus's Express Live!, it's divided into three independent spaces, a music hall, a club, and an outdoor amphitheatre, with an innovative reversible stage plus state-of-the-art lighting and acoustics for year-round touring shows. Interpol formed in Manhattan in 1997 and first performed at Luna Lounge alongside peers such as the Strokes, Longwave, the National and Stellastarr, emerging with the post-punk revival of the 2000s.

What is Stage AE's capacity?
Depends which room you end up in — Stage AE is really three venues sharing one North Shore address. The outdoor lawn holds 5,500, the indoor music hall 2,400, and the small Club space 400. Same door at 400 N Shore Drive, Pittsburgh; very different night out. It opened on 3 December 2010 with a Girl Talk show.
