Lighthouse is an arts centre in Poole, Dorset, described by Arts Council England as the largest arts centre in the UK outside London. It combines a 1,500-seat concert hall — home to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra — with a 669-seat theatre, a studio, a cinema and gallery space, opposite Poole's bus station. Hothouse Flowers are a Dublin band mixing Irish soul, gospel and rock, whose 1988 debut People became one of Ireland's most successful debut albums.
