The Powerstation is a music venue in Eden Terrace, Auckland, and one of the few small live rooms of its kind left in New Zealand. The building has housed music venues in various forms since the 1950s. Happy Mondays are the Salford band who fused indie rock with acid-house on Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches, defining the Madchester era around Shaun Ryder and Bez.
