Showbox SoDo is an 1,800-capacity concert hall in Seattle's SoDo district, a few blocks south of Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park. Housed in a converted 1935 warehouse of exposed brick and wood beams, it opened under the Showbox name in 2007 as the larger sibling of the Showbox at the Market. GWAR are Richmond, Virginia's costumed 'scumdogs of the universe', a shock-metal institution whose gore-soaked theatrical shows have delighted and drenched audiences since 1984.
