White River Amphitheatre is a 16,000-capacity outdoor amphitheatre on the Muckleshoot Reservation near Auburn, Washington, between Seattle and Tacoma. Opened in 2003 and operated by Live Nation, it is the region's largest open-air concert venue and a regular stop on major summer tours. Godsmack formed in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1995 and now consists of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill and lead guitarist Sam Koltun.
