A 1936 National Guard armory in downtown Minneapolis, built by the Public Works Administration and on the National Register of Historic Places. It housed the Minneapolis Lakers before the NBA left town, sat through decades of other uses, and is now one of the city's biggest and most striking rooms. Godsmack formed in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1995 and now consists of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill and lead guitarist Sam Koltun.
