Howler is a bar and live-music venue in Brunswick, in Melbourne's inner north, presenting touring and local music acts. Fruit Bats is the long-running folk-rock project of Eric D. Johnson, whose warm, melodic albums have been a Sub Pop and Merge staple since 2001.
