An intimate, independent room in Camden Town, five minutes' walk from the tube, founded in 2005 by two music-loving friends. Folk, Americana, country and bluegrass through to blues, roots, world and jazz, with a gig on every night — plus a vegetarian café-bar and a basement piano bar that give it the feel of a 1960s coffee-shop music parlour. Jenny Mitchell comes from the country music capital of New Zealand: an Aotearoa Music Award winner, nominated four times for an Australian Golden Guitar, who weaves folk and country influences around stories of family, nostalgia and connection to the land.
