An intimate, independent room in Camden Town, five minutes' walk from the tube, founded in 2005 by two music-loving friends. Folk, Americana, country and bluegrass through to blues, roots, world and jazz, with a gig on every night — plus a vegetarian café-bar and a basement piano bar that give it the feel of a 1960s coffee-shop music parlour. Elsie Franklin sings and plays acoustic country-blues, ragtime and jazz on a trusty National resonator, and is a rising talent on the UK blues scene, playing all over the country.
