Elsie Franklin and the Rockettes

Elsie Franklin sings and plays acoustic country-blues, ragtime and jazz on a trusty National resonator, and is a rising talent on the UK blues scene, playing all over the country. She learned from her father, the blues guitarist Adam Franklin, and from her good friend Steve James, and is often praised for an authentic yet individual take on early blues and jazz, drawing on Memphis Minnie and Bessie Smith.
