Hell is one of three stages at The Masquerade, Atlanta's long-running mid-sized concert venue, now tucked into Kenny's Alley on the lowest level of Underground Atlanta. The venue opened in 1989 at the century-old DuPre Excelsior Mill and built a reputation across punk, alternative and electronic music. Its rooms are named for the afterlife's destinations, with Altar added in 2024. Ecca Vandal was born in Louis Trichardt, South Africa, to Sri Lankan Tamil refugee parents; the family left when she was a child and settled in Melbourne.
