A beloved 1,100-capacity concert hall in Chicago, split between a main floor and balcony, that has championed local, regional and national emerging acts since it first opened in 1982. Formerly the Stages Music Hall and Cabaret Metro, the building also houses the Smart Bar nightclub tucked beneath the main venue. Eagles of Death Metal are the Palm Desert boogie-rock band of Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, whose swaggering garage grooves power albums like Peace, Love, Death Metal.
