The Cliffs Pavilion is a 1,630-seat theatre and concert hall on the clifftop at Westcliff-on-Sea, part of Southend-on-Sea in Essex, England. Opened in 1964, it is the largest-capacity theatre in the East of England and stages touring music, comedy and stage productions. David Essex is an English pop icon of the 70s whose Rock On and Hold Me Close made him a teen idol, alongside a long stage and screen career.
