A storied concert venue at the corner of Queen and Spadina in downtown Toronto, in operation since 1947. Known to locals as The Horseshoe or The 'Shoe', it's a significant part of Canadian musical lore, immortalised in the memories of thousands of concertgoers and in books such as Have Not Been the Same. Damien Troy Jurado, born on 12 November 1972, is an American singer-songwriter from Seattle, Washington.
