Cardiff University Students' Union is a students' union and entertainment complex on Park Place in Cardiff, Wales, whose Great Hall has hosted touring bands and musicians since the 1970s. Linked with its adjoining bar and Y Plas nightclub, the building can form a 'superclub' holding around 4,000 people, among the largest live-music spaces in the city. Cory Wong is an American guitarist, composer and producer born around 1985 in Poughkeepsie, New York, and based in Minneapolis, whose crisp, staccato funk playing has made him a distinctive modern voice on the instrument.
