Seattle's oldest active theater, an 1,800-seat performing arts venue two blocks from Pike Place Market at 2nd Avenue and Virginia Street. Opened in 1907, it has long hosted theatrical productions, concerts and lectures. Today it is run by the Seattle Theatre Group, which also operates the larger Paramount and the Neptune Theatre. Choir! Choir! Choir! is a Toronto-based participatory singing event founded in 2011 by Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman, where audiences — with no auditions required — are taught a group arrangement of a well-known song on the spot.
