The Birchmere is a concert hall on Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia, billed as 'America's Legendary Music Hall.' Opened as a restaurant in 1966 and presenting live music since 1975, its intimate main room seats about 500 at tables for rock, blues, bluegrass, country, folk and jazz. Choir! Choir! Choir! is a Toronto-based participatory singing event founded in 2011 by Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman, where audiences — with no auditions required — are taught a group arrangement of a well-known song on the spot.
