The Basement East is a live-music venue in the East Nashville neighbourhood of Nashville, Tennessee, the larger sibling of the original Basement club and nicknamed 'The Beast'. Destroyed by the tornado that struck Nashville in March 2020, it was rebuilt on its Woodland Street site and continues to showcase touring and local acts. Chasing Abbey are an Irish trio — Ronan Bell, Jonathan Byrne and Ted Conway — who formed in Tullamore in 2016 and build their music from electronic production crossed with traditional Irish influences.
