A 73,000-square-foot performing arts venue in Clearwater, Florida, in the Tampa Bay area, part of the Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts. Named after Ruth Eckerd, wife of businessman Jack Eckerd, its 2,180-seat auditorium uses continental seating with no center aisle. A regular home for the Florida Orchestra, it also draws touring concerts. Celtic Thunder are an Irish singing group and stage show known for an eclectic, theatrical style, backed on tour by the Celtic Thunder Band.
