The UC Theatre, officially the UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall, is a nonprofit concert hall in downtown Berkeley, California, run by the Berkeley Music Group. Originally opened as a cinema in 1917, it was restored and reopened as a 1,400-capacity live-music venue in 2016. Castle Rat are an American doom metal band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2019, known for a theatrical 'medieval fantasy doom' concept led by vocalist Riley Pinkerton, 'the Rat Queen'.
