A theatre in Downtown Los Angeles that opened in 1926, ran as a playhouse and briefly as a movie theatre, and closed in 1950. After decades of other uses the building was renovated and reopened as a music venue called The Belasco in 2011; Live Nation has operated it since 2020. Castle Rat are an American doom metal band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2019, known for a theatrical 'medieval fantasy doom' concept led by vocalist Riley Pinkerton, 'the Rat Queen'.
