A beloved 1,100-capacity concert hall in Chicago, split between a main floor and balcony, that has championed local, regional and national emerging acts since it first opened in 1982. Formerly the Stages Music Hall and Cabaret Metro, the building also houses the Smart Bar nightclub tucked beneath the main venue. Book of Love are an American synth-pop band formed in New York City in 1983 around vocalist Susan Ottaviano and keyboardist Ted Ottaviano.
