Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is a 20,000-capacity outdoor amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri, in the St. Louis suburbs. Opened in 1991 as the Riverport Amphitheatre — and later known as UMB Bank Pavilion and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater — it is the region's principal summer shed for major touring acts and remains notorious for the 1991 Guns N' Roses riot early in its life. Billy Idol is an English rock singer born in Stanmore, Middlesex, in 1955, and one of the faces that carried punk energy into the MTV era.
