A 650-capacity music venue at 66 North 6th Street in Brooklyn's Williamsburg, formerly known as Northsix. Operated by The Bowery Presents, the AEG-owned group rooted in Bowery Ballroom, it runs shows on most nights of the week. The venue is set to leave its current location in 2026. Bikini Kill formed in Olympia, Washington in October 1990 — Kathleen Hanna singing and writing, Billy Karren on guitar, Kathi Wilcox on bass and Tobi Vail on drums — and pioneered the riot grrrl movement with feminist lyrics and fiery, abrasive, hardcore-influenced performances.
