An amphitheatre in Holmdel, New Jersey, originally the Garden State Arts Center, holding around 17,500 people across 7,000 seats and a lawn for roughly 10,500. Running 45 to 50 events from May through September across many musical styles, it ranks among the country's top five amphitheatres and is one of the New York metro area's two major outdoor arenas, managed by Live Nation. Babymetal formed in Tokyo in 2010 as a sub-unit of the idol group Sakura Gakuin, built on the idea of fusing heavy metal with the Japanese idol genre, and became an independent act in 2013.
