Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is a 20,000-capacity outdoor amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri, in the St. Louis suburbs. Opened in 1991 as the Riverport Amphitheatre — and later known as UMB Bank Pavilion and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater — it is the region's principal summer shed for major touring acts and remains notorious for the 1991 Guns N' Roses riot early in its life. Babymetal formed in Tokyo in 2010 as a sub-unit of the idol group Sakura Gakuin, built on the idea of fusing heavy metal with the Japanese idol genre, and became an independent act in 2013.
