The Echo is an intimate indie and alternative music venue at 1822 West Sunset Boulevard in the Echo Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles, opened in 2001 and run by Spaceland Presents. Together with its larger downstairs room, the Echoplex, it has long been a launchpad for the city's independent bands. Anysia Kym is a Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist working at the experimental edge of alternative R&B and electronic music.
