Anysia Kym is a Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist working at the experimental edge of alternative R&B and electronic music. A drummer as well as a singer, she builds tracks largely from samples, folding funk, soul and jungle influences into jagged, shifting rhythms that resist tidy genre labels. Her music sits within New York's alternative hip-hop and DIY scene, praised for its raw, restless approach to production. Recent releases include the albums Truest (2024) and Purity (2025), which have drawn attention from outlets covering the city's underground. Live, she brings that hands-on, instrument-led sensibility to the stage, performing at independent clubs and art spaces where her genre-blurring sound can stretch out.
