Barclays Arena is a multipurpose arena in Hamburg, opened in 2002 and holding up to 16,000 people. It has traded under several names over the years — Color Line Arena, Barclaycard Arena and O2 World Hamburg among them — and is one of northern Germany's principal concert rooms. André Rieu is a Dutch violinist and conductor, born in 1949, who founded the waltz-playing Johann Strauss Orchestra and tours the world with it, often playing stadiums.
