A multi-purpose arena in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, at 14th Street and Grand Boulevard on the east side of the Power & Light District. It seats over 19,000 and has 72 suites, and has effectively become the city's primary indoor arena in place of Kemper Arena. Designed by a team including Populous and Ellerbe Becket, it was completed in October 2007 at a cost of $276 million and opened as the Sprint Center. Connected to its north side is the College Basketball Experience. Amy Grant is an American singer-songwriter who built her career in contemporary Christian music before crossing over to mainstream pop in the mid-1980s, earning her the nickname the Queen of Christian Pop.
