The Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre is an outdoor amphitheatre on the San Diego State University campus in San Diego, California, built in 1941 and seating roughly 4,700. It is a mainstay of the region's summer concert calendar. Alice Cooper is an American rock singer, born Vincent Furnier in Detroit in 1948, who pioneered theatrical 'shock rock' first with a band of the same name formed in Phoenix in 1964 and later as a solo artist.
