A 73,000-square-foot performing arts venue in Clearwater, Florida, in the Tampa Bay area, part of the Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts. Named after Ruth Eckerd, wife of businessman Jack Eckerd, its 2,180-seat auditorium uses continental seating with no center aisle. A regular home for the Florida Orchestra, it also draws touring concerts. Air Supply are the Australian soft-rock duo of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, whose ballads All Out of Love and Lost in Love dominated early-80s radio.
