A 73,000-square-foot performing arts venue in Clearwater, Florida, in the Tampa Bay area, part of the Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts. Named after Ruth Eckerd, wife of businessman Jack Eckerd, its 2,180-seat auditorium uses continental seating with no center aisle. A regular home for the Florida Orchestra, it also draws touring concerts. Stray Cats are an American rockabilly trio formed on Long Island by Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom.
