About
Theory of a Deadman are a Canadian rock band formed in North Delta, British Columbia, in 1999 by singer-guitarist Tyler Connolly and bassist Dean Back. Working in post-grunge and hard rock shaded with acoustic and country touches, and now filled out by guitarist Dave Brenner and drummer Joey Dandeneau, they signed early to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's 604 Records. Nine of their singles have reached the US Mainstream Rock top ten, four of them hitting number one, among them 'Bad Girlfriend' and 'Rx (Medicate)', while the album Scars & Souvenirs (2008) became a commercial high point. Seasoned road veterans, the band have toured internationally and supported acts such as Mötley Crüe, remaining a steady presence on the North American rock circuit.
