The Wonder Stuff are a British alternative rock band originally based in Stourbridge in the West Midlands, and largely the vehicle for Miles Hunt's songwriting — he is the anchor member of every line-up. Their first incarnation released four albums and nearly 20 singles and EPs before splitting with a farewell headline set at the 1994 Phoenix Festival; they reformed in 2000 and have toured and recorded since. Their sound moved from guitar pop into sampling, folk and country. They scored a UK number one with "Dizzy", recorded with the comedian Vic Reeves, plus 17 top-20 singles and three top-10 albums.
