The Deadlians are an Irish band formed in Dublin in 2017, built around Sean Fitzgerald on vocals, trumpet and fiddle with a line-up spanning baritone guitar, synth, bass and drums. Genuinely hard to pin down, they mix folk songs, punk rock and psychedelia into a restless, shape-shifting sound; as Fitzgerald has put it, the band doesn't have an exact sound. Their releases include the album Watch out! Here come The Deadlians (2022) and Rid The Land of Greedy Toads (2024), with much of their catalogue circulating on Bandcamp. They have earned a cult following on the Dublin circuit, and are best known live as an unpredictable, high-spirited act whose gigs lean into their eclectic, genre-blurring energy.
