About

The Comedy about Spies is a play by Henry Lewis and Henry Shields of Mischief Theatre Company. Competing CIA and KGB agents chase the plans for a top-secret British weapon, codenamed Project Midnight, after a bomb destroys the handover and the files are stolen. The story then unfolds in a Piccadilly hotel, where the KGB pair pose as an English married couple, a CIA agent arrives with his retired CIA mother in tow, and a struggling actor mistakes them both for Hollywood producers casting James Bond. The original production opened in London in 2025.
