Rival Sons formed in Long Beach, California in 2009 and are also affiliated with Nashville, Tennessee: Jay Buchanan on lead vocals, Scott Holiday on guitar, Dave Beste on bass and Michael Miley on drums, joined on their most recent tour by keyboard player Jesse Nason. They are signed to Atlantic Records via Dave Cobb's label Low Country Sound, an imprint of Elektra, and have released eight albums and one EP, with two Grammy nominations to date.
