Ricus Nel

Ricus Nel (born 13 December 1979 in Rustenburg) is an Afrikaans singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who works in pop and country styles. He began playing drums at the age of four and is reported to have mastered numerous musical instruments. His debut album, Sak en Pak, was released in August 2011 through Select Music and achieved gold status, as did his 2014 tribute album of Don Williams and country classics. He also released Sout van die Aarde (2013). A regular guest on kykNET's Jukebox, Nel married fellow Afrikaans singer Liza Brönner in January 2013.
