Live is an American rock band from York, Pennsylvania, and one of the biggest alternative-rock acts of the 1990s. Fronted for most of its history by Ed Kowalczyk, the band broke through with the multi-platinum 1994 album Throwing Copper, which topped the US charts and spawned the enduring hits 'Lightning Crashes', 'I Alone' and 'All Over You'. Their follow-up, Secret Samadhi, also reached number one. Known for anthemic, spiritually charged songs and intense live shows, Live has sold more than 20 million records worldwide and continues to tour as a stadium-and-festival rock act with a global following.
