About
Little Grandad are an English rock band signed to Communion Music, made up of brothers Harry Lower on guitar and lead vocals and Jack Lower on bass and lead vocals, with Ned Ashcroft on guitar and trumpet and James "Jimmy" Brennan on drums. Their sound has been described as a mix of Americana, slacker rock and indie rock. Jack Lower had been tour manager for Mary in the Junkyard, which is how he already knew Ashcroft; Harry wrote a handful of songs, showed them round, and the four began playing them. They supported Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Cardinals and The Orchestra (For Now) before releasing anything of their own, and their debut singles "Unmasked" and "Sleepwalking" appeared in May 2026.
