About

Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985 from L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose. After signing with Geffen Records in 1986, the band released its debut album Appetite for Destruction in 1987; it sold over 30 million copies worldwide and carried "Welcome to the Jungle", "Paradise City" and "Sweet Child o' Mine". The twin albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II followed in 1991, and Chinese Democracy in 2008. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, and Slash and Duff McKagan rejoined Axl Rose in 2016 for the Not in This Lifetime... Tour. Isaac Carpenter became the drummer in March 2025, and in November 2025 the band announced a 2026 world tour and two new songs, "Nothin'" and "Atlas".
