Geheueverlies followed it to number one, and Witblits — his newest single, the story of a cocky city boy chasing a forbidden love against apparently insurmountable obstacles, who finds acceptance in the last place he thought to look, at a farm party — is heading for gold. His own label for the sound is minimalist post-sokkie boeremusiek: tongue-in-cheek lyrics and explosive energy, which is how it has ended up at every good party.
