Don Omar — William Omar Landrón Rivera, born in Santurce, San Juan — is one of the artists credited with taking reggaeton to audiences around the world, and critics and fans alike call him the King of Reggaeton. The Last Don, his 2003 debut, sold 411,000 units in the United States and was certified gold; he has since sold around 70 million records. He announced his retirement in 2017 with concerts at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, then returned in 2019 with "Ramayama" featuring Farruko. He has two Latin Grammy Awards and seventeen Billboard Latin Music Awards, and played Rico Santos in four Fast & Furious films.
