Buckcherry are an American hard rock band formed in Anaheim, California, in 1995, originally under the name Sparrow before a cease-and-desist forced the change. Fronted throughout by vocalist Josh Todd alongside guitarist Stevie D., the group broke through with a self-titled 1999 debut that went gold. Their 2006 album 15 delivered the singles 'Crazy Bitch' and 'Sorry', the latter their first Billboard Hot 100 top-ten hit, and they have kept up a steady album pace since. Recognition includes a 1999 Kerrang! Award for Best International Newcomer and Grammy nominations for 'Lit Up' and 'Crazy Bitch'. Touring is central to the band, with high-profile support slots for AC/DC, Kiss and Mötley Crüe's Crüe Fest, and a live show built on sleazy, high-energy rock and roll.
