Brigitte Calls Me Baby are an American alternative rock band formed in Chicago in 2022 — singer Wes Leavins, guitarist Jack Fluegel, bassist Devin Wessels and drummer Jeremy Benshish. The name comes from Leavins' teenage pen-pal correspondence with the French actress Brigitte Bardot. Their very first gig, before any of their music was out, was opening for Inhaler, and they later opened for Muse. A South by Southwest performance in 2023 brought them to ATO Records, who released the EP This House is Made of Corners and then the 2024 debut album The Future is Our Way Out.
