About
almost monday are an indie pop band from San Diego, founded in 2015 by Dawson Daugherty, Luke Fabry and Cole Clisby. Daugherty and Fabry grew up together in the city's North County area; Daugherty met Clisby through surfing. They wanted to be called The Mondays, found the name taken, and settled on the next best thing. An early EP was recorded at Switchfoot's studio, and the 2019 single "Broken People" reached number 27 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Two EPs followed — Don't Say You're Ordinary in 2020 and Til the End of Time in 2021 — before the debut album Dive arrived in September 2024.
