The room
Three hundred and fifty acres of public parkland where Barton Creek meets the Colorado River in south Austin. Andrew Jackson Zilker gave the land to the city in 1917 and it was developed into a park during the Depression; the hike-and-bike trail around Lady Bird Lake runs alongside it.
