The room
The Cathouse — also known as the Cathouse Rock Club — is a long-established alternative music club on Union Street in Glasgow. Donald MacLeod launched it in 1990 in the Hollywood Studios building on Brown Street, and it moved to Union Street in 1997, was bought outright and refurbished, and relaunched at the end of October 2005. It hosts live gigs as well as club nights: Oasis, Pearl Jam and Fall Out Boy played here in their early years, and DragonForce, Lordi, Zebrahead, Mr. Bungle and Glenn Hughes have all appeared. It is part of Hold Fast Entertainment, which also owns The Garage.
